Luke and Noah and the Colonel

So today's the start of the Nuke and the colonel story...seems the colonel has escaped from prison and is back in Oakdale to save his son I guess. Not sure about ameera's role in this whole thing but she was whisked away by the colonel today...meanwhile Noah finds a letter from the colonel in ameera's drawer and calls Luke for help...they meet at Java to discuss what's goin on and Luke blames ameera which seems to shock Noah. Later on the good part happens, Noah actually tells Luke how much in love with him he is and there is a reallllllly great kiss until, damn, there is a knockin on the front door, realllllly soooooooooo unfair to disturb them, but anyway it's a cop and he tells them that the colonel has escaped from jail. Looks like there's going to be a lot of trouble caused, and injuries, but I'm hopin nothing harmful to Luke and Noah now that the story is finally heating up...more tomorrow...

In other news, JuicyJanet is doin all she can to snag Badbrad despite knowing he's marrried...I like that katieho got off her butt and found their new place...frankly it's tiresome to see the same scenery every day, so the katieho/badbrad digs are cool.

On B&B there are more tears than ever, an endless deluge of tears from the logan sisters...seems the newly married donnaho has a secret in her past, a child who is now on her doorstep askin are you my mom, wtf, woulda thunk it, didn't think she was THAT old...well it's mildly interesting and we'll have to see how if affects her marriage to honeybear.

Juicy Janet

I'm really likin Juicy Janet who is Liberty's mom via a long ago get-together with newly married badbrad. I think I like her cause she's a breath of fresh air, a bit of fun in an otherwise rather dismal setting of boring couples...at last a nu character to sink one's teeth into, and one of the best things is at least she's irritating katieho and badbrad. While badbrad seems to be in lalaland over juicyjanet's intentions, katieho is not...takes a ho to know another I guess...anyway I see lots of humor ahead for katieho and juicyjanet, cause they are gonna be duking it out for their man...and imagine when henry and vienna get involved, there are so many possibilities so we'll see if the writer's have enough imagination to really make this fun.

Usually nu characters take some time to get used to and lots of em don't make it...the reason I think juicyjanet will is that everyone else is so boring right now, or just mia as in Nuke...what is it with the Nuke storyline, it's either non-existent or just creeps along in slo mo...I guess they'll be gettin the colonel gets involved story next week, but I won't hold my breath.

As for the other couples, what can you say, they keep puttin me to sleep, even my beloved carjack. I tired of them bickering, it's not humorous, just keeps reiterating the same old same old...if jack wants to keep on bein such an ass let him do it to someone else...and the holden and nulily story is a real non-starter and has been for months even with the real lily...and I'm not likin nulily at all, she is not lily and I don't think she ever will be...and if they do end of puttin holden and carly together I still think it's silly.

Which brings me to the three couple or wanna maybe sorta be couple stories on tv right now...the ever boring paul, meg, and now sophie, complicated by numike who kinda likes meg and seems to be over katieho, but like who cares, and the ever non-sizzling allison and chris and aaron non-starter couplings, just flat out dull.

And for last cause it's kinda the best and the worst and the most silly and the most ewwwwwww, it's the emily/casey hook up in new york...saw it comin a mile away, now their will be repercussions for emily's latest screw up, oh yeah, on ATWT you pay for your sins...but this story kinda makes me cringe, not that casey's not up to shaggin the luscious emilyho, cause he's kinda cute and all, but I almost can't watch emilyho drag herself all the way down to the bottom again cause there is no way in hell this "relationship" is gonna last...maybe casey will sue her for sexual harassment, hmmmm...

Wedding Joy-Thank God For Small Favors

Today the joyous televised nups between katieho and badbrad actually happened. Carjack fans everywhere thank youuuuuuuuuu!!! Oh there were a few bumps and hiccups, heeeeeeeeeee, along the way but generally it went smoothly...the first time they went to commercial was when katieho started hiccuping right in the middle of the lovely ceremony with henry as the minister replacing the minister who froze solidly in place once the cameras started rolling, good thing henry still has his minister's certificate, oh yes...in a lovely moment a guilt ridden margothedumbestcopever arrived to be at her sister's wedding and scared her out of the hiccups...okay then moving right along, the wedding resumed with margo replacing henry as male of honor, and thennnnnn poor katieho just fainted dead away when tryin to say I do, she couldn't get it out, I guess she was nervous but I think what caused the fainting was all that makeup she had on, wow, lots of makeup...anyway, so they revived her and henry did a fast forward ceremony and that was that, they are now mr. and mrs. and hopefully she'll keep her little hands off of carly's g-man...nuff said.

Meanwhile the rest of oakdale was either missing or realllly boring today...but stay tuned for tomorrow cause it's gonna be a good one...the evilameera is gonna kiss noah, oh yes she is up to no good, casey is gonna tell luke about it, and someone is gonna confront evilameera about it, but what I'm wondering is what noah will do, hmmm, does he love the beautiful luke or is he feeling sorry for the evil one, will Nuke ever kiss again, stay tuned I guess cause tomorrow's another day...

Oh and one interesting thing I noticed today...ATWT is doing lots more outdoor shots, to save money and all, and they've been at the Snyder pond this week. Now I guess it's a pretty big pond but what they've been showing is the barren part with no trees at all, and for like 20 years they've been showing the pond as heavily vegetated, so what's with the bareness thing, are we just seeing one little edge, guess we must be cause we KNOW there's lots of trees and bushes cause all of oakdale has been doin it out there for YEARS, and if it's all barren then no one would be doin it, but still I find it strange and confusing and wonder where the trees are...show us the trees!!!

Really I Do

On ATWT, our poor little heroinette katieho is havin a real hard time marryin lovedujour badbrad...poor little thing keeps gettin all conflicted over mikethegood and mybestfriendjack cause she never slowed down and was willing to be allllll alone for a little while and figure things out before diving in again...TBSS...so all she's done for a few days is whine and complain and has been cryin a non-stop river, well that river is now at flood stage...is she maybe in love with all of em...katieho is a lot like brookie on B&B, she wants em all until she has em...it was tres funny today on B&B when even katie rolled her eyes when brookie started proclaiming how she was babyjack's mother and all, and frankly nick looked worried...brookie doth protest taylorlips insanity too much, I think brookie's the one on the edge, but I'm tryin to figure out what her problem is, does she really want nick so much that she's in a hysteria-induced delusion about bein babyjack's mom, she doesn't seem to care bout ridge at all...well I guess we'll find out but meanwhile I can't wait to see the look on her face when she finds out that nick is gettin involved with katie, heeeeeeeeeeeeee, that's gonna be priceless.

Meanwhile back on ATWT, carjack had a bad day. Carly is finally growin some balls and is tellin it like it is with wtfiswrongwithjack...I love my carjack but maybe they need a little break and he needs to get real jealous, perhaps he could get together with brookie, have a little fling, and run cryin back to carly when he get's dumped when brookie decides her destiny is to be with ridge, again...

Anyway, I'm lookin forward to the katieho-badbrad on air nups later this week, palkimmy puts on a really great show, and from last weeks previews looks like so will katieho when surrounded by all those ex husbands.

No Nuke sighting today, so what else is new...

Trouble

Trouble is brewing in As the World Turns land, trouble, trouble, trouble...for everyone, but especially for my darling luke...course we know whose doin it, it's the evermoreevilameera quietly manipulating noah who is turning into a complete idiot...strange how a fraudulent marriage can make some people feel all responsible and guilty about the loveless marriage and the person they don't know or maybe even like, and they in fact like the opposite sex like soooo much more you might say, damn, it's the colonel talking...and that ameera is a smart little cookie, well so far...saw on next week's previews that casey figures it out without too much trouble and tells luke that ameera is after his boyfriend...so I'm seeing idiotnoah probably gettin more and more defensive and protective of the evil one, luke being verrrrry hurt, and I think before it's all over we'll see the colonel's hand in this somewhere, it's just too convenient that ameera showed up the way she did...well I for one hate her, just hate her hate her hate her...

Meanwhile the new triangulation of badbrad, katieho, and mikeythegood is escalating, looks like mikey's not goin down without a fight...of course katieho has NO loyalty to anyone so I can see her fallin back into the mikeylove thing again, at least til simon comes back for a visit, or bumps into jack on purpose and cries her ittybitty eyes out...hate her...

And there go those snyder men again bein all self-righteous and holier than thou, like where does that come from, hmmmm...love em and hate em...maybe if simon comes back soon he can get together with the much deserving lily and carly who also have a "past" with him, as well as katieho whose the closest he'll ever get to love...hate him, but love him more...
